Why Yale?

When I was five my dad gifted me a ruler with all the U.S. presidents.  I would spend every night memorizing these names in order. One night in the restroom, I was reciting the presidents to my mom and the last name to escape my mouth struck a lightbulb in my head. I asked my mom “Where did some of these presidents go to college?” and she simply responded with a smile on her face, “Yale.” It was at the grand old age of five that I learned of Yale’s renown for law and for producing political figures. Since then my passion for politics grew as I have involved myself with a Law and Advocacy program, as well as a district meeting with my City’s council, only adding to the momentum.
